Home to the nation’s first transcontinental railroad, Nebraska remains a leading rail center to such carriers as Union Pacific Railroad, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and Canadian National. The nation’s largest railroad company, Union Pacific Railroad, is headquartered in Omaha where the central location promotes efficient rail service and intermodal freight transportation to destinations across the U.S. and throughout North America. Burlington Northern Santa Fe was purchased by Warren Buffet in 2009.

Water transportation by barge is available on the Missouri River, and 9 commercial airports move people and cargo in and around the State daily.

Strategic Distribution Center

Located at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 29, Nebraska is at the crossroads for regional and national commerce. This makes it possible to reach the majority of U.S. destinations within two days by truck, allowing you to get your products to your customers quickly and efficiently.
